When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so. Deuteronomy 18:9-14God warns that His people are not to get involved with the occult world. The spirit world is real and dangerous. In Exodus 5, the Egyptian astrologers/magicians were able to copy God’s miracles. God revealed to Moses what we call the 10 Commandments. The first four listed in Exodus 20 remind us of our relationship with our deliverer, God. We are to have NO other gods.
The occult world has appeal, as it sounds spiritual. But in reality, it is witchcraft. As you read Ephesians 6:10-18 and 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, the spiritual battle is obvious. This battle is to be taken seriously, beginning with deciding which side you will be on.

We know the living God. If you want to know the future, read Luke 21 and the book of Revelation! Many Christians have missed this vital warning, engaging in these activities while thinking they are being spiritual or simply having fun. They are playing with fire.
Please consider passing this information on to those you know, and purchasing a vital resource, “Out From Darkness: A Spiritualist Medium Escapes Satan's Clutches.” This book is written by Ben Alexander, who spent many years involved in the occult before coming to know Christ.
