Standing in the Gap

I received this devotional from Steve Jones, a pastor friend of mine in Vero Beach, and wanted to pass it along to you:

Ezekiel 22:30 - "I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn't have to destroy the land, but I found no one."

Somewhere there is a "wall of righteousness" with a gap that has your name on it. Somewhere there is a wife, a child, a parent, a widow, an orphan, a teen, a business, a school, or a church that needs you to step up and stand in the gap. You can't stand in mine.

I pray that today that you will stand in the gap.
